The following are initial proposals which we would like to hear your feedback on.

* Please note that all images are for illustrative purposes only.

  • All steps within the north of the park to be repaired or replaced as necessary.  The area around the ‘Killer Steps’ to be tidied and new seating added in each level where possible.

  • Existing Tennis Courts to be repainted with new nets and fencing.
  • The old tennis court to the south will be given a new lease of life as a multi-use area containing a concrete skate park, multi-use goal ends and the whole space could be a place for visitors to roller-skate.

  • Replacement of end of life trees and the planting of new cherry trees creating avenues throughout the park.
  • Both park entrances to be enhanced to make it feel more welcoming.
  • Parterre style planting in the memorial garden will provide year round colour and structure to the garden.
